Selected from our sustainable, highest quality, Northern Scandinavian redwood forests, this pine cottage door comes with all the characteristics you'd expect from pine. These include knots in the woodwork, nothing too large, but enough to show off the natural pine qualities. These solid pine doors lend themselves perfectly to being painted. As the door arrives unfinished, you will be able to select any wood paint of your choice to finish it in your chosen colour. With glazing not included, you will be able to select whatever glass you most prefer to fit into this space. Whether it be an obscured glass for the bathroom door, or a clear toughened glass for the kitchen, you will have the freedom to select and install it yourself.
This internal pine door is built to be strong and durable, and to ensure that the ledges remain in place no matter what! Unlike the standard pine doors on the market, these internal doors go through a different process of fixing the ledges to the door than just the more common method of stapling. These pine ledges are fixed to the interior door by finger joints, glueing, pinning, and then hydraulically pressing the ledge on. This guarantees that the ledges will not gradually separate from the rest of the door over time. This particular variation is the bead and butt profile option, meaning that the door features a tiny, intricate detail on the front and back of the door, between the planks of pine.
