As Simple as a Door Gets
A flush fire door is as pared-back as a door gets: a completely smooth, flat face with no panels, grooves or mouldings. That simplicity is what makes it the default in modern homes, offices and apartment blocks, where a clean, unbroken surface suits the interior, while the fire rating sits entirely inside the core.
Our flush fire doors run from warm oak and ash veneer through to crisp white primed, all part of the wider internal fire doors range, with 30 or 60 minutes of protection depending on the door.
Finishes and glazing
Choose oak fire doors and ash for a natural, mid-century feel, or crisp white fire doors for a bright modern scheme. Where a room needs light, a glazed flush door sets a fire-rated glass panel into the same smooth face.
Rating and fitting
Flush fire doors are used in homes at a 30-minute rating, found in our FD30 fire doors, and in commercial buildings at 60 minutes in our FD60 fire doors. Like any fire door, a flush door only performs as a complete doorset, so pair it with a fire-rated frame or lining, intumescent seals and fire-rated hinges.
