A Wide Door Where Clear Access Matters
813mm, or 32 inches, is a wide internal size that sits between the standard 762mm and the widest 838mm doors. It is often chosen where a doorway needs a generous clear opening, for easier access and movement through the door, while still holding a tested fire-resisting core.

When 813mm is the right width
Reach for 813mm when an opening is wider than standard or when you want a more generous clear width for access, without going all the way to 838mm. Measure the leaf against the opening, allowing for the frame or lining, and size up rather than trimming a fire door beyond the small amount its certification permits.
Styles, finishes and rating
The size comes across the range, in oak, contemporary and other styles and finishes. Most are fitted at a 30-minute rating, our FD30 fire doors, and an 813mm door only performs as a complete doorset with a fire-rated frame, intumescent seals and fire-rated hinges.
