About Light Oils And Waxes
Treating your doors with a light oil or wax has many benefits. First and foremost a light treatment will allow you to give your doors an added layer of protection. Wood can become damaged if it absorbs moisture, a wood treatment will create a barrier to ensure that this doesn't occur. In addition to this it will also give a certain amount of protection against scratches and knocks.
The second benefit is that a light wood treatment will make it possible to achieve your desired finish and match your internal doors to existing features within your home. A light oil or wax is perfect for a bright and airy home as it will allow for this look to be retained but still ensure that your doors will have lasting looks.
