Description

The Pattern 10 Glazed Oak Bi-Fold Door brings the clean, single-light Pattern 10 look to a space-saving folding door, in real American oak veneer. Two slim leaves are pre-hinged together and glide on a supplied aluminium track, folding neatly back on themselves to open up a doorway without a standard door's swing, ideal for a utility, study, en-suite or any opening where floor space is tight. Its panels of clear toughened safety glass keep daylight flowing between rooms. It sits within our range of oak glazed internal doors.

A Space-Saving Fold, a Bright Pattern 10 Face

Where a hinged door needs room to swing, the bi-fold concertinas back against the frame, so it is a neat solution for compact rooms and awkward openings. The two leaves come pre-hinged with heavy-duty hinges and run on the included aluminium track, and full fitting instructions are supplied to make setting the track as straightforward as possible. Each leaf carries the clean Pattern 10 clear glazed design, so the door keeps a bright, contemporary feel. The overall 1981mm height includes the aluminium track, which helps when the bi-fold is replacing an existing standard door; note that bi-fold widths sit slightly under the equivalent standard door width, so it is worth measuring your opening before you order.

Unfinished Oak, Finished Your Way

The door is made from real American oak veneer and supplied unfinished, so you can choose an oil or finish to match your existing oak. We would recommend a clear or natural hardwax oil to protect the veneer and bring out its grain; oak veneer is best oiled rather than painted or stained, and it is worth refinishing at regular intervals to keep it protected. Behind the veneer sits a solid engineered core, backed by a 10-year manufacturer's guarantee. You can finish it with products from our wood treatments range.

Delivery Information

Because it’s important that our products get to you in perfect condition and on time, we only work with trusted, reliable delivery companies who have an excellent reputation. To allow you to spend where it matters, the cheapest available delivery option will automatically be selected at the checkout stage. Don’t forget that orders over £800 will qualify for free shipping!

*We apply a shipping surcharge of £35.00 to certain postcodes for door orders and £25 for timber only orders, which can also add an additional 5 working days to the delivery lead time, see our delivery page for more information.

For Standard deliveries, you will receive contact from the courier prior to delivery. For Express deliveries, you will not receive contact from the courier, with the aim to avoid delays in the Express delivery.

If you have chosen additional options for your items such as prefinishing, please allow up to an additional 10 working days for delivery. This will depend on the number of in-house oiling requests and the chosen finish which will affect the number of coats and required drying time.

Generally delivery is a weekday service. Couriers may however operate on weekends during busy periods. As such, we are unable to offer weekend deliveries, but this may be offered by the courier if they call to arrange your delivery date and time. Please note that your delivery will be made to the kerbside. As such, please ensure you can move your order to a secure location.

All delivery times given are based on orders being placed before 12-midday and the lead times are from once your order has been dispatched, not placed.

As unforeseen circumstances can, on the rare occasion, cause delivery issues, we do not recommend booking any tradesmen until your items have been delivered.

Flooring Delivery

Delivery is typically 7-10 days from order date. Your flooring will normally come on a pallet and be shipped using a kerbside delivery. We will call you before delivery to agree a date that suits as someone will need to be available to help offload. Please remember that our solid oak flooring is particularly thick and therefore very heavy. 65m2 will weigh approximately 1 tonne/1000kg.
