Description

The Arnhem Black 2 Panel Glazed Internal Door pairs a bold black finish with a big, light-giving glass panel, making it a striking way to brighten a darker room. A tall clear glazed light fills the upper portion of the door, pouring daylight through into hallways and rooms that struggle for natural light, while a solid lower panel framed by raised decorative beading grounds the design and adds a subtle, traditional detail. It sits within our wider range of half glazed internal doors.

One Large Clear Light

Rather than break the glass into several small panes, the Arnhem uses a single large rectangle of crisp clear glass set vertically in the top of the door, which creates the effect of a tall window in the middle of the wall and lets plenty of light flow between rooms. Beneath it, the solid lower panel keeps a more grounded, hard-wearing base and carries the decorative beading that ties the door to its more traditional siblings. The glass is clear toughened safety glass, supplied ready-fitted so the door arrives pre-glazed.

Pre-Finished Black, Ready to Hang

The Arnhem is supplied factory-finished in a smooth black, so it arrives ready to hang rather than needing to be painted on site, though it can still be over-painted later if you want to change the colour. It is built on a solid engineered core for a reassuring weight and better sound insulation than a hollow-core door. The door comes in three widths at 1981mm high and 35mm thick, with a trimming allowance of 8mm on each edge, and it carries a 10-year manufacturer's guarantee.

A: It is supplied pre-finished in a factory-sprayed black, so it is ready to install straight away. You can over-paint it later to change the colour, but no finishing coat is required.

*We apply a shipping surcharge of £35.00 to certain postcodes for door orders and £25 for timber only orders, which can also add an additional 5 working days to the delivery lead time, see our delivery page for more information.

For Standard deliveries, you will receive contact from the courier prior to delivery. For Express deliveries, you will not receive contact from the courier, with the aim to avoid delays in the Express delivery.

If you have chosen additional options for your items such as prefinishing, please allow up to an additional 10 working days for delivery. This will depend on the number of in-house oiling requests and the chosen finish which will affect the number of coats and required drying time.

Generally delivery is a weekday service. Couriers may however operate on weekends during busy periods. As such, we are unable to offer weekend deliveries, but this may be offered by the courier if they call to arrange your delivery date and time. Please note that your delivery will be made to the kerbside. As such, please ensure you can move your order to a secure location.

All delivery times given are based on orders being placed before 12-midday and the lead times are from once your order has been dispatched, not placed.

As unforeseen circumstances can, on the rare occasion, cause delivery issues, we do not recommend booking any tradesmen until your items have been delivered.

Flooring Delivery

Delivery is typically 7-10 days from order date. Your flooring will normally come on a pallet and be shipped using a kerbside delivery. We will call you before delivery to agree a date that suits as someone will need to be available to help offload. Please remember that our solid oak flooring is particularly thick and therefore very heavy. 65m2 will weigh approximately 1 tonne/1000kg.
