What veneer means for how they wear

The oak you see and touch is real wood; underneath, an engineered core resists the seasonal swelling and shrinking that can catch out solid hardwood doors, which is what keeps a veneered door hanging true year after year. It is a construction built for everyday use, holding its shape on doors that are opened and closed constantly.

Prefinished or unfinished

Most of these doors come two ways. Prefinished doors arrive with a factory oiled coat that is ready to hang straight away and gives an even, consistent finish, while unfinished doors let you oil or wax them to your own tone on site and finish after any trimming.
